The official line is that "without considerable public support and business funding the show is unlikely to return". This does leave the door open is support is forthcoming, but the 2014 show organisers, Open Air Productions, have called in the liquidators leaving local businesses unpaid, so despite Shepway Council's optimism in a statement in June 2014 the the show has to go down as a 'just about possible' rather than 'probable'.
